    The MEF Auction Gala is one of the Moraga Education Foundation’s premier fundraising events of the year. This signature evening allows MEF to diversify its fundraising efforts while bringing the community together for a high-energy, unforgettable night - all in support of Moraga’s public schools.

    Proceeds from the Auction Gala supplement MEF’s annual campaign, helping bridge the gap between state education funding and the real cost of delivering exceptional educational programs for our children.

    There are several ways to support MEF and the Auction Gala:

    • Donate an item or experience to the silent or live auction

    • Make a monetary contribution

    • Volunteer your time on the day of the event

  • The excitement starts early.

    An online auction will take place prior to the Gala and is open to everyone - whether or not you plan to attend the Auction Gala on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The online auction will feature a curated selection of items and experiences available to bid on from anywhere.

  • No walk-ups - this table is reserved.

    Auction Gala tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.

    Tickets go on sale January 27, 2026.

  • Your ticket is your all-access pass to an unforgettable Viva Moraga night, including:

    • Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar during cocktail hour

    • A seated dinner paired with red and white wine

    • Participation in silent and live auctions

    • Live music, casino games, dancing, and late-night celebration

    • $100 casino cash card per guest to play casino games throughout the evening

    (VIP guests receive a $200 casino cash card per guest, plus additional VIP perks).

  • Yes - VIP tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis when ticket sales open on January 27, 2026. Availability is limited, and once VIP tables are sold out, the house closes the table.

  • 12 guests per table

    Go all-in and elevate your Gala experience with a VIP table - perfect for hosting friends, family, or colleagues while enjoying premium perks all night long.

    VIP Tables Include:

    • Priority table selection via a shared room map, with guaranteed table placement alongside friends

    • $200 VIP casino cash card per guest (General admission tickets receive a $100 casino cash card)

    • Two (2) drink tickets per guest

    • Preferred VIP guest check-in

    • A special Elvis shout-out or serenade during the event

    💰 VIP Table Pricing

    $4,200 for a table of 12

    (A $600 savings compared to purchasing 12 individual tickets—equivalent to the cost of two general admission tickets.)

    🌟 Honor Roll Donors

    Honor Roll donors may apply VIP benefits and are welcome to combine with other Honor Roll guests to purchase a VIP table together.

  • Yes. A limited room block has been secured for Gala guests.

    Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • After the auction closes, an Auction Lead will contact you directly to coordinate delivery or pick-up of your auction item(s).

  • No paper tickets required.

    Once your ticket is purchased, your name will be added directly to the guest list for the evening.

  • 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

    • Cocktail hour with appetizers

    • Seated dinner and live auction

    • Casino floor and dance floor open following the auction

    Let the games begin.

  • Casino games are played with chips provided at the event and are for entertainment purposes only. Guests receive casino chips with their ticket and may purchase additional chips to enjoy a variety of Vegas-style games throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit the Moraga Education Foundation, and chips have no cash value.

    • Pai Gow Poker

    • Let It Ride

    • Casino War

  • Cocktail or semi-formal attire.

    Vegas-inspired glam encouraged—think sleek, sparkly, and celebration-ready.

    • Self-parking: $15

    • Valet parking: $25

  • No cash needed.

    A credit card may be used at the bar and throughout the evening. When you purchase your ticket, your credit card will be securely connected to your personal Paddle Number, which you’ll use to:

    • Bid in the silent and live auctions

    • Purchase raffle tickets

    • Use casino cash cards to play games
